Brrrrrr - baby its cold outside

Well how's this weather, winter has finally set in , its so cold ,just the kind of weather to stay inside and scrap and make cards of course (lol) What else would you do !
Some of the cards lm showing you today are from my card classes, and one l was just fiddling with, that could make it to class, theres a cute little box and another one that lm not sure about, but have a look and see what you think. lve  also been making christmas cards, yes you heard right  - christmas in july is the theme for my next card class,  so l cant show you yet what lve made, but if anyone is interested in coming to a class , just contact me ,
There are 2 classes a month at the moment, so if you are new to paper craft and would like to join, or been doing it for years and want to try some new ideas, give me a call - 0400 646 945 l'd love to hear from you.

This is a simple little card l was fiddling with yesterday which turned out ok, l used some embossed cardstock l had with large daises on it, just perfect for the butterflies,  other than the embossed cardstock and the scallop circle, all other supplies are stamp'in up.
Cardstock - whisper white and tempting turquiose , certainly celery
Scallop circle - nestabilities
Embossing folder  - perfect polka dots
Stamps - bliss set and heard from the heart
ink - pear pizzazz, tempting turquiose, sahara sand
circle punch and dauber
next are my class samples and the cutest little box

l just love this card, so quick and easy to put together, and theres a look at the inside, for this class l used the Vintage Vogue  set and wanted to show the girls a few different ways this set could be used.
Cardstock - Baja Breeze - Very Vanilla - Choc chip
Ink - choc chip -  riding hood red and baja breeze
Embossing folder - Elegant lines
Oval die - pearls
Stamps  - vintage vogue.

The second card lve used
Cardstock - old olive - sahara sand - Whisper white
Ink - old olive - sahara sand - and versamark ink amethyst
Pearls - top note die - punch - curly label punch

Ink - soft suede - melon mambo
decorative label punch - dauber
ribbon and tag - not stamp'in up
And there's an card l made today for my dad, he turns 72 next week, not too sure about this one, l dont have any man stamps yet and could'nt think what to do, over the years dad has always kept birds, mainly carnarys and finches, so this retired set of  Touch of nature l thought would maybe suit him , the bottom part of the bird l used crumb cake and the blender pen, but it seemed a bit dark, so l used the blender pen and a build up of craft ink to highlight it, l was'nt sure if you could use craft with the blender pen , as the craft ink is a different sort of ink, but it worked, l just took me a while to get all the white off the pen.

Well thats it for today, hope you like my cards, please leave a comment and let me know what you think, l'd love to get your feedback, ...........so have a great day............kate xx
