Aunty Lou 1894-1995

Hi  there  all , hope the start to your day is all good, its early morning here and l was going to post this last night and ran out of time and today lve got lots to do, so good morning to you all. Today lm sharing with you some more family tree pages, the first one is on my Great Aunty Lou, lm not sure what age she was when it was taken , but l would say maybe in her twenties, what an amazing woman, she was born in 1894 , she was the 3rd child of 18 and first daughter, she lived through many eras and expirenced many changes throughout history, she lived to the grand old age of 101 and was still able to recall many memories even at 101. She out lived all brothers and sisters except one, (aunty Tess) who lived till 98.
Aunty Lou lived through both world wars, the great depression and many other hard times, l was lucky enough to meet  this wonderful lady and her sister Tess when Lou was 99, we were there to celebrate her 100th birthday. When Lou was 96, some family members got together and helped her make a tape with all her memories of growing up in different eras , we were able to get a copy of this and l typed it up in the scrapbook, 6 pages later , (OMG), Never thought l'd get there, but what an important part of the tree this is, to have all this information , when most of the relies of that era were all long gone, what a blessing. So this is Aunty Lou.

I've used beautiful vintage papers from My Minds Eye, vintage buttons from jenni Bowlin, and even used my brayer and black ink to distress white cardstock to match the paper, still lov'in that brayer, there is also some white lace, but its a bit hard to see.

and of course l couldn't have put a page together without adding a bird, (LOVE MY LITTLE BIRDS), from stampin up, well what ever your doing today, have a good one , and thanks for looking.
