WEEK 1 CONTINUED

lm back with some extra pics from week 1
all papers in the pockets are from the project life kit, others are stamp'in up postcard stamp and heart punch, twine is We R Memory keepers and l also used their new tool the Sew Easy stitch piercer, and just as the name sugests, it is so easy, all letters are American Craft and the round stamp is from 7 Gpysies.
l thought ld add our names and ages, even though 2 of the childrens ages will change soon, thats what they are at the moment, the letter l dont remember what brand they are, but are years old the @ is from stamp'in up.
Here lve just added half of a top note die cut and stamped a Ali Edwards stamp ( LOVE ALI'S STAMPS ) rubed on some ink around the edges and added a strip of my minds eye paper and in the bottom corner a Kaiser Craft rub on, the letters used on the pets pics are also American Craft, and then theres a pic of home. Then we go on to page 2.
My motto for this year , lve taken from a stampin up stamp set that came out in 2010 and is now retirded, the stamp says HAPPY THOUGHTS ,MAKE HAPPY DAYS, and l will be focusing on that in 2012, l used a Fiskars punch on 2 different cardstock and the letters are old stock , as in years old from Making Memories, the arrow is from the PL kit.
Everything used on this page is Stamp'in up - markers, punch, butterfly and brad.
next lot of pockets are all about my country style diary that l buy every year and the amount of books that l read last year, 22 books l couldnt beleive it when l added them up, theres nothing better than a good book, and the pic of the book here is the first book lve finished for 2012, so there you have it, first page done, easy as........thanks for looking........c u soon........kate

  2. Kate thanks for the invite over to your blog...love your start to Project Life...that kit is awesome and what you've done with it. Back in 2009 I tried to get one of the original Project 365 kits that Becky designed when she was working for another company at the time and I had to make a couple of calls to the USA in the middle of the night here in Australia only to be told they sold out in a couple of hours and the website crashed because there were so many people wanting the kits. I'm so thankful Becky went off on her own and came up with an extension of that product as Project Life is an amazing product and is clearly very popular all around the world. I used to do page scrapbooking in 2007 and 2008 but now I like doing little projects (Week in the Life) and (December Daily) and now Project Life is more my thing due to time and storage space. Thanks for introducing yourself over on my blog...Kathy
