Playing with Miss Nellie

Hi there Happy bloggers, well little Miss Nellie has taken over my house, yesterday l scrapped with her all day, l'm so lov'in this set of papers and embellishments, and they were perfect for some of the last lot of family tree pictures l have on my grandfathers side of the family, lve had so much fun playing with the stamp set and doing alot of fussy cutting and really pleased with the way they turned out,  so l hope you enjoy looking at them as much as l had fun making them.

All products are Kaiser, except for the bling on the dress stands and a new stamp set from Stamp'in up, l really was'nt sure about the chipboard flowers, but when l put them against my page, the just made it pop. oops , the letters are American craft

The next page is my great grandmother, l framed the page with the large stamp in the set and then added the little rose stamp to just mingle in the  solid background, it reminds me of a rose covered archway blossoming in spring, it was such a quick and easy layout.

the large flowers l have stamped onto cardstock and cut them out, easy as ,and the paper l used was in the 6x6 paper pad.
you can see the pale pink rose buds in this pic a bit better, l really love the way this page turned out, l think l will be using this stamp set alot.

This is my grandfathers sister and when l looked at the hat she was wearing, l just knew these papers and stamps were going to work, l wanted to make a sort of faded look so l inked up the stamp and stamped it off once and then stamped the page, it worked a treat, the letters l used are American craft, from a few years back, and were the only large ones l had where the colours matched, so l embossed  some cardstock with the stampin up vintage wallpaper folder, l wanted to use a oval template, but didnt have one for the size l needed, so when all ekse fails, go to the kitchen cupboard and see what you can find, l found a plastic oval container, but it was to big for what l wanted , as l went to put it back, l looked at the underside and there it was , a smaller oval ring on the bottom, just perfect......so l inked up the plastic, pressed it onto the embossed paper, and cut it out,............ dah ta..........

Also went a bit mad with the Spritzing tool from stamp'in up.

So anyway, that sort of winds up my miss nellie pages today, if anyone would like this set, contact the girls from www.makeapagescrapbooking.com.au , lm sure they would love to help you make some beautiful pages, so thats all on miss nellie for now, l still have so much of this set to use, there will be more pages to come, so stay tuned,  have a good one .............kate
